Performing with multiple orchestras and bands, she has built a reputation for her adaptability and professionalism, solidifying her presence in the industry.
Cerys is also an accomplished percussionist, expanding her expertise beyond the drum kit. Her experience performing as a session percussionist includes notable gigs such as playing with Ryan D'Auria's nine-piece funk band at Swansea Arena. Her deep understanding of rhythm and dynamics allows her to seamlessly integrate into different musical settings, whether adding intricate percussive textures in a studio session or enhancing a live band's groove. With a strong dedication to her craft, she continues to push her musical boundaries, establishing herself as a dynamic and reliable percussionist in the industry.
In addition to her successful career as a musician, Cerys also has extensive experience in the live music sector, starting as part of the audio and stage crew at the O2 Academy Bristol while at university. Her passion for live audio engineering grew after recognising that dual expertise as both a performer and technician made her a more valuable asset in the industry. She has since worked as an audio technician for Major Tom Ltd, one of the biggest leading audio rental companies in the UK, with a career highlight of engineering on a night of the Alfie Boe tour. Cerys also works as a freelance social media manager with expertise in understanding trends, algorithms, and content creation, enabling her to craft engaging content for modern audiences. Her experience spans social media marketing for sporting companies, record labels, and various bands.
Beyond her musicianship, Cerys has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills as President of Bath Spa University’s Women’s Football Club for the past three years.
